Healing, Health and Wellness Center understands that today, most people are struggling through life with damaged emotions. They’ve experienced a lot of negative or traumatic circumstances, causing untold damage. But all too often, the hurts and pains associated with these experiences are pressed down or ignored.
Emotional pain often affects your quality of life just as much as physical pain. Often time’s emotional pain can be the source or root of physical pain. In fact, emotional stress is linked to health problems including chronic inflammation, lowered immune function, increased blood pressure, altered brain chemistry, increased tumor growth and more. Finally, emotional pain can be so severe that it interferes with your ability to enjoy life and, in extreme cases, may even make you question whether your life is worth living.
Many, if not most, people carry emotional scars — traumas that can adversely affect your health and quality of life. It’s a mistake to view your emotional health as a separate entity from your physical health, as the two are intricately connected. You’ll have an easier time bouncing back from emotional setbacks when you’re physically well, and healthy habits will also help keep your mood elevated naturally in the midst of stress. In our efforts to promote wholeness, Healing, Health and Wellness Center recognize the need to provide a safe place for all types of healing. In addition to healthy food alternatives, we now offer books in the store on subjects like: rejection, healing unmet needs, and understanding forgiveness, etc. There is also a weekly meeting FAA (Food Addiction Anonymous) every Monday at 7:00pm. Beginning in August, we will have Christian healing services where God can free you from emotional and physical pain. Date and service times coming soon, please continue to review our site.
