
1) Thousand Island Dressing Recipe
Make 1.5 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup homemade mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons organic or homemade ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
- 2 tablespoons relish or chopped pickles
- 2 tablespoons finely minced white onion
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Taste and add more relish if desired.
2) Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1/3 c. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1-1/2 Tbs. grain mustard
- 2/3 c. cold pressed olive oil
- Sea salt + ground pepper to taste
Place the vinegar and mustard in a food processor and blend. With the processor still running, slowly pour in the olive oil and blend until it emulsifies (blends into one). Season with salt and pepper.
3) Honey Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1/3 c. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1-1/2 Tbs. grain mustard
- 3/4 Tbs. raw honey
- 2/3 c. cold pressed olive oil
- Sea salt + ground pepper to taste
Place the vinegar, mustard and honey in a food processor and blend. With the processor still running, slowly pour in the olive oil and until it emulsifies. Season with salt and pepper.
4) Raspberry Vinaigrette
- 1/4 cup raspberry vinegar or raw apple cider vinegar
- 1-1/2 Tbs. honey
- 1-1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 c. fresh or frozen organic red raspberries, crushed
- 1/3 c. fresh basil, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup organic extra virgin olive oil, a little more if needed
- Sea salt + ground pepper to taste
Whisk all ingredients in a small bowl except oil, then slowly add in oil whisking until blended.
5) Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- One clove of garlic, finely minced
- Small squirt of dijon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon honey (optional)
- Salt, pepper and basil to taste
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients in small jar or blender.
6) Strawberry Lemonade Vinaigrette
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup light olive oil
- 1/2 cup agave nectar or mild honey
- 1/2 cup strawberry lemonade (Recipe link below)
- 1/2 cup pear vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
PREPARATION
In a medium mixing bowl add all ingredients except olive oil. Slowly drizzle olive oil while whisking until mixture emulsifies (thickens slightly). Chill.
